Kamal Farooqui of Samajwadi Party said that what Syed Ahmad has done is right and if BJP is criticizing him it means that this party is the enemy of Constitution. Kamal Farooqi said that taking oath in the name of Allah is not against the constitution. The constitution has given a right to every one to take oath in that name to which he obey.  He said that if in Parliament oath can be taken in the name of Ishwar, Bhagwan and God then why the oath can not be taken in the name of Allah in Raj Bhawan.

Kamal Farooqi further said that the member of legislative assembly, member of parliament, ministers, judges and the Governors have right to take oath on the name to whom he obey. He said that BJP don’t like a Muslim Governor that is why there is protest from this party. The other main reason of protest is that Syed Ahmad has congress background and BJP is pulling his leg. Farooqui said that when a person taken the oath as Governor then it is our duty to give respect to him but the BJP is not doing so.

Anis Durrani of Minority cell of All India Congress Committee said that for a Muslim there is nothing above God. Syed Ahmad has done a good job if BJP is criticizing him it means that this party has not faith in constitution.

Ilyas Mallik General Secretary of All India Majlis-e-Mushawarat said that this type of thinking fro BJP is very dangerous for this secular country. This is just an attempt to disturb the Muslims. Ilyas mallik asked that when for many small programs we break coconut and organize pooja is that not against the constitution.

Maulana Aneesur Rahman Qasmi, Nazim Imarat-e-Sharia Bihar said that this nothing bust just a BJP enmity with Muslims. Maulana Ahmad of Jama-e-Islami Hind said that this type of communal thinking will destroy the secular nature of the country.
