25 October, 2011

By Sabiha A (NDChronicle.Com)

New Delhi: Though like every  state Government Delhi Government too says that they are very serious for the development of Muslims but their seriousness can be understand from a fact that there is no Haj committee in Delhi for the last six years. In the absence of proper Haj Committee the HaJ aspirants are acing many problems from filling application form to taking aeroplane for Jeddah.

Though the hag aspirants are fulfilling all the formalities and also attending the training camp but all these is being done by the social worker and Government’s role in all these activities are zero.

Six year ago after a complaint of sending haji for Haj after taking bribe from them erstwhile chairman of Haj Committee and other six member s have been dismissed. Now every year the Government say that election will be held for the formation of Haj committee but it remains a promise.\
