India vs New Zealand live cricket score 2nd test, day 4: Bhajji 100 propels India to 472. It must be among the best last wicket partnership in the test cricket
Hyderabad: Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh is turning out to be an accomplished batsman or it seems. In this series he had scored two consecutive hundreds in two last innings. The first hundred came in the second inning of the first test match and the other one came in the first inning of the second test. And the best thing is that he has scored most of the runs in the partnership of Sreesanth, a mediocre bowler from India, the last wicket stand.
He is still at the crease and the best thing is that he has scored his 101 runs scored so far came from just from 106 balls that he has faced so far.
After the middle order collapse of the Indian inning this is another show of resistance by the Indian tailenders and if this continues it is a great sign for India and shows the depth in its batting.
Indian had lost its 9th wicket for 367 runs when Ojha was sent back to the pavilion and many had thought that Sreesanth would be taken within a few overs. But the bowler is still at the crease after facing close to 70 deliverieis and scoring 23 runs while allowing the maverick Punjabi boy to take the lead and hit fours and sixes that he hits so effortlessly.
Bhajji has hit seven sixes and seven fours making the match look like a twenty20 match that people have enjoyed immensely. Meanwhile Vettori is at his wits end as to how to break this partnership and stop the run making machine from scoring any more runs.
After facing 143 overs Indian score is 471 runs and has lost 9 wickets. Bhajji is playing at 110 runs while Sreesanth has scored 24 runs.
